Pulmonology is probably too narrow a name to describe everything a respiratory specialist does.
So, if your pet has chronic nasal discharge, cough, shortness of breath, you should visit these specialists.

A pulmonologist has the knowledge and skills to treat not only lung pathologies, but the respiratory system in general.

Chronic rhinitis of any etiology, tracheal collapse, bronchomalacia, chronic and acute lung diseases (pulmonary fibrosis, pneumonia, etc.).
The pulmonology department was established in our clinic recently, but doctors have many years of experience in treating respiratory pathologies.

What services do we provide?

• We can examine our patients with the help of modern equipment (chest X-ray, CT scan, bronchoscopy, BAL, tests for various types of lung parasites, tests for common respiratory pathogens, etc;)
• All treatment regimens and diagnostic algorithms used by veterinary pulmonologists are carefully considered and as modern as possible;
• All doctors undergo annual advanced training at foreign and Ukrainian conferences;
• Every patient, cat or dog, can get a full range of diagnostics and help in case of chronic respiratory problems.

How to prepare for a visit to a veterinary pulmonologist:

• Please make an appointment in advance by phone or on the clinic's website;
• It is advisable to bring the animal to the appointment by the owner or a person who is directly involved in the care and treatment, especially if the problem is long-term;
• Do not forget to take records of previous examinations (chest X-ray, blood tests, etc.), if any;
• Think about the answers to the following questions at home in advance: when the symptoms appeared, what treatment was performed and for how long, what drugs were used and in what dosage, whether it got better after therapy.
• If the animal is frightened and may show aggression, this may prevent a full examination. Please be prepared to restrain the pet yourself and/or wear a muzzle.
